We had our first ultrasound on Thursday, April 19th. It was the first time we had a look at the Spam Nugget! At this point, it was 2.75 cm (~ 1 inch) long and had a heart rate of 170 bpm! It's upside-down in this picture: the spherical blob at the bottom is its head, with its body sticking up. Its folded in half at the butt, with its legs sticking down toward the head. Since Justin isn't this flexible, he thinks it takes after its mother.
