Readying the Nest

We've begun making preparations for the arrival of Spam-Nugget. Between yard sale purchases, samples from baby stores, maternity clothing, and paint, there's clear evidence in our home of the impending arrival. I think Willow is finally getting suspicious. One of the first signs was the appearance of a glider rocker (thanks, Mr. & Mrs. Huff!) in our family room, a jogging stroller in the garage, and a pack-and-play in the 2nd bedroom. Then came the piles of maternity clothing. When we painted the baby room yesterday, with the help of Uncle Craig (whose skills were cheaply purchased for the price of a bucket of driving range balls), she knew something was up. We're not sure if Willow is excited about the prospect of having a less-furry younger sibling, but she did try to help paint, as evidenced by her now-green tail. One can only hope she's as willing to share the attention come November.
